Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941, the child of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. After 13 years of age, old, he relocated along with his parents from Nebraska to Casper within the Western part of Wyoming in Wyoming, where his father directed the local district of soil conservation to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
