Jennifer Garner was born on the 17th of April, 1972 at Houston, Texas but was raised in Charleston, West Virginia. William John Garner served as engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother was a professor at a nearby university. The father of her was an engineer in the chemical industry, and she aspired to become similar to her father. However, because she wanted to follow her dream of becoming an actress, she moved in New York to try her chance in the movie industry. Being a part of the Early Steps to School Success (EASS) team of ambassadors for the program, Garner visits families regularly to provide them with strategies to inspire their kids to achieve.
